SRAM ETAP is the only and unique wireless groupset, you brake with two cables, the rest is via Bluetooth. The switches transmit the signal to the derailleurs, each of which carries a small battery.
The batteries are interchangeable with each other and will last six months with weekly use, every bike ordered with an ETAP groupset receives a charger with it.
Gear shifting is fast and very efficient. If you like proven innovation and forward thinking, SRAM ETAP is right up your alley.
Pay attention to a few things. The smallest cogs at SRAM ETAP are 10tooth. The standard cranks have 48T outer leaf. So your largest gearing is 48/10=4.8x.
Other groups have standard cassettes whose smallest cog is 11T. For equal gearing, you will then have to ride a 53T outer leaf, because 53/11=4.8x.
With SRAM, the gearing is therefore 48 over 10, which is equal to 53 over 11.
