The D2 is essentially the same as the D1 with these differences:
– carbon parts shifters and cranks, the group as a whole has become lighter than the D1
– the flattop chain from the more expensive Red group is the new standard, it is also lighter than its predecessor
– a 50/37 crank option for when things aren’t going fast enough for you
– improved derailleurs interact with the shifters that shift slightly faster The Sram Force group consists of
– a 50/37, 48/35 or 46/33 crank
– two shifters with cables and calipers;
– two 160mm discs
– a cassette, 10-28, 10-30, 10-33
– a flattop chain for 12s
– a front derailleur with battery
– a rear derailleur with battery
