Shimano WH-MT601 MTB Boost wheel set

The Shimano Deore WH-MT601 MTB wheels deliver great performance on any MTB ride. The WH-MT601 is the Deore level aluminum tubeless wheel set. The weight of the Boost version is 2,230 grams. The Shimano WH-MT601 MTB wheels come with aluminum tubeless rims and feature double butted, J-bend spokes to prevent spoke breakage. The rims have an internal rim width of 25 mm, providing plenty of stability and comfort. Brake discs are easily mounted with the familiar centerlock attachment. The hubs feature cup-conus bearings. These bearings rotate better at different degree angles and less friction is created in the hub, making the bearings last longer. The Shimano Deore WH-MT601 wheels have high acceleration capability, for even more fun on the trails.
Some 12-speed cassettes must be mounted on the 10/11-speed Shimano/SRAM body. These are the SRAM NX Eagle PG-1230 cassettes and almost all other 12-speed MTB cassettes with an 11 as smallest cog. MTB cassettes with a 10 as smallest cog need a special body. This is for Shimano a Micro-Spline body and for SRAM an XD body.
