{"id":4192,"date":"2024-09-12T11:03:18","date_gmt":"2024-09-12T09:03:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/14carbon.com\/review-aero-20-by-rudi-bissels\/"},"modified":"2024-12-21T18:04:36","modified_gmt":"2024-12-21T17:04:36","slug":"review-aero-20-by-rudi-bissels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/14carbon.com\/en\/review-aero-20-by-rudi-bissels\/","title":{"rendered":"Review Aero 20 by Rudi Bissels"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br\/>Recently Rudi Bissels tested the Aero 20 for us.<br\/>The bike tested by Rudi was equipped with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sram.com\/en\/sram\/road\/series\/sram-force-etap-axs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SRAM Force eTap AXS 12s<\/a> and further consisted of:<\/h4><figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td>Frame\/fork:<\/td><td>T800 Carbon<\/td><td>Saddle:<\/td><td><a href=\"https:\/\/www.prologo.it\/en\/products\/dimension-143\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Prologo Dimension<\/a><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Discs:<\/td><td>160mm (hydraulisc),<\/td><td>Tires:<\/td><td><a href=\"https:\/\/www.continental-tires.com\/bicycle\/tires\/race-tires\/grand-prix-5000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Continental GP5000<\/a><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Crank:<\/td><td>48\/35 170mm<\/td><td>Color:<\/td><td>Red<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Cassette:<\/td><td>10-28<\/td><td>Frame weight:<\/td><td>1,100 grams<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Send:<\/td><td>Integrated carbon<\/td><td>Total weight:<\/td><td>7.6kg.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Below he describes his personal experiences in response.<\/h4><p>&#8216;My conclusion\/experience of the Aero 20 can be summed up in two words: <strong>TOP BIKE<\/strong><\/p><p>Just some personal findings:<\/p><p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Optical:<\/strong><\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Lacquer color is beautiful, nice glossy and strong<\/li>\n\n<li>Seat post screw is nicely concealed<\/li>\n\n<li>Wheels have nice decals, not screaming but present and readable<\/li>\n\n<li>The whole bike gives a nice clean overall look, no cables and nice tight connections of stem to headset and such make the bike have a sleek look.<\/li>\n\n<li>The distribution of red-black (matte) is beautiful, not too busy but certainly not boring. This really makes the bike an eye-catcher without being a screaming entity<\/li><\/ul><div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.14carbon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/14C_Wielset.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.14carbon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/14C_Wielset-300x239.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2047\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div><p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong><u>Geometry\/rije properties:<\/u><\/strong><\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The alignment of saddle to bracket is perfect, so anyone can find the right saddle position (including via bikefitting). I am now a little more above the bracket but love it<\/li>\n\n<li>The bike is nice and short, this means maneuverability is tremendously good<\/li>\n\n<li>When you accelerate standing on the pedals you notice that all the power is converted into speed, you don&#8217;t have to correct at all, the bike goes straight ahead tremendously fast<\/li>\n\n<li>The stiffness from the handlebars toward the pedals is fantastic, the transmission of forces to the pedals is phenomenal and is overwhelmingly a unity of handlebars-steering stem-ball headtube-diagonal frame tube-bracket-cranks-pedals<\/li>\n\n<li>The wheels are wonderfully light and stiff, this greatly benefits acceleration and maneuverability (chamfering of bike).<\/li>\n\n<li>Braking with disc brakes is fantastic, I have already had to make an emergency stop (car suddenly turning in front of me) and then the brakes are perfect<\/li>\n\n<li>The brake levers are fine to adjust for people with small hands, simply turn a hidden screw with an Allen key, see attached video: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lKso8td2GGg\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lKso8td2GGg<\/a><\/li>\n\n<li>The handlebars are great, nice handlebar tape and good angle when you have your hands in the stirrup.&#8217;<\/li><\/ul><h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rudi liked the bike so much that from now on he will
