A lot of technology in a small package<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n The electronics that provide the power measurement are cleverly hidden in the DUB axle. This ensures that this power meter is very resistant to bad weather conditions while the weight of this addition is minimal. The use of this DUB axle ensures that this power meter fits in almost any frame. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Battery life<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n The SRAM Rival eTAP power meter does not have an internal battery, but uses a replaceable lithium AAA battery. The downside to this is that you will have to replace it every now and then. Fortunately, the battery lasts for over 400 hours, which is a lot longer than most internal batteries in power meters. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

DUB bottom bracket<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n The DUB technology ensures that the bottom bracket and crank arm are not only stiff and transfer your power directly, but also that the crank lasts a long time. Due to the simple integration of the crank, bottom bracket and sprockets you can expect better power transfer and you get less maintenance in return. Installation is also very easy! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

X-Range Technology<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n X-Range makes for a more efficient drivetrain by shifting your gear range from your crank to your cassette. SRAM designed the Rival cassettes to have closer, more consistent gaps between cogs. This also allows for a wider range. All in all, this means you can ride on the same chainring longer on this SRAM Rival crank, allowing for smoother up and down shifts. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
