14Carbon facilitates the journey of Matteo Nadalon. Matteo will ride on our gravelbike from Caorle 2.500 km to Santiago de Compostela.

Your dream
I lost my mother, still very young, at the end of February. Donatella had a dream: make the journey to Santiago. In 2016 I arrived in Santiago walking and, since that day, she never stopped talking to me about all the pictures I’ve sent her and to tell it to all the people close to her.
In September 2017 I started to get into biking and started to coach a very young team of MTB, the Cavaion Bike. My
mother was happy and proud of this too.
Another passion that we shared also professionally was our job in the kitchen and our love for the chef profession. I’ve decided to combine all what made her proud of me and happy, fulfilling her life dream: go back to Santiago de Compostela.
I want to do it by bike, starting from the town where she was born and grown: the beginning of my journey will be Caorle
(a few kilometers from Venice) and then the route will lead me through northern Italy, France – along the French Riviera,
Spain – first along the Costa Brava then up north till the Cantabrian Sea coast and, finally, to Santiago de Compostela.
